Second year Ph.D. student Cierra Anderson has received the prestigious NASA Advanced Air Vehicles Program (AAVP) fellowship to develop nitride-based pressure sensors for hypersonic applications. This fellowship provides support over the duration of Cierra's graduate studies, and her research will be conducted with technical advisor Dr. Robert Okojie, an expert and pioneer in harsh environment pressure sensing, at NASA Glenn.
